As JJ wrote yesterday, we both like country music. However, country music is also many things, and we don’t always agree on which songs and artists, we like best. But we DO AGREE on Willie Nelson!
So, Tuesday we went to see his museum, which is only about 1½ miles (2½ km) from our campground.

Christmas has been creeping up on us. Even before
Halloween (October 31), the stores started decorating for X-mas!! It is
impossible to avoid it, so we decided to give in 😊.
To get a little break from all the country music in Nashville, we decided to visit a nearby hotel, that we had been told, has an impressive Christmas setup. It does! The Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. This is a HUGE hotel (almost 3000 rooms). And it has A LOT of decorations. Here are a few pictures.
Outside and inside it is just plastered with lights and decorations. Three million lights. And again we find it impossible to capture what we see in a picture (or a hundred pictures).

It is always too over the top for me - especially starting in October!!! Think of the cost!! You should see how they decorate at the White House. So much expense - I think it is obscene.
